What a good looking group of Heydingers this was who showed up for the golf scramble. Forty chose to play, about thirty to complain. five to shoot pictures, and three to actually take the event seriously. They won! The others had an enjoyable time, playing with cousins or sibs. Glenn Heydinger and Kevin Beeson did a good job of mixing up the folks and ensuring that all had a great time! Thanks, guys!

Two Glenn Heydinger's showed up for the golf scramble. On the left is Edwin Heydinger's son - descended from August and Herbert "Whitey." In the middle is the owner of Cranberry Hills Golf Course, Glenn Heydinger, son of Ott, son of Peter. Glenn's wife Pam is on the right.

It's a wonder that anyone with this many impediments is even allowed on the course! First, there's the matter of dress code: the hat, then the belt that is obviously too short, and . . . . Tom Heydinger's son David Hedrick was sent along to monitor the flight of the ball and search the corn fields for "hizoner."

This is quite a bunch of Beesons who eventually won the scramble: Ryan, Sean, Collin, and Kevin..

Some of these guys really takea the game seriously. Curt Ensman here prepares to size up the cup with a worm's-eye view. His uncle Gerard (Jerry) does it the old fashioned way while nephew Glenn Heydinger and his wife Pam await their turns.

Gerald Kehres patiently holds the stake till he has a chance to drop a putt and save the hole for brother Danny and Lois.

"Hellooooooo, Ball!" says Peggy Heydinger as she addreses the ball

These boys had a lot of fun. Blake Heydinger, Ott's youngest grandson, came up from Florida to compete with Chris Heydinger, Nate Hiler, and Mark Christy. They finished close at 4 under!

Bill Heydinger and his chauffeur Jerome are ready for a great morning drive. Then they had to hit the ball and it wasn't so great a day!

This group prepares to pour out a libation to the golf gods for a successful round of golf: Ryan Harrington, Jarrod Hostetler, Jim Heydinger, and .Andrew Ensman. These are all grandchildren/great-grandchildren or married to grandchildren of Herbert "Whitey" Heydinger

Pat and Gus Heydinger and offspring John and Darrin pose here before embarking on a fun-filled trip through the course. .

Andrew Heydinger prepares to do some plowing. Most folks in these parts do theirs in the spring..

Bill Heydinger poses with Jerome Heydinger, Mary Yurkanin, and Greg Ernst. .

Looks like a Pro-Am group showed up to participate. On the left are John and Andrew Heydinger, paired with the pros, cousins Jarrod and Eric Clady.

Sometimes just hush upa da face and enjoy the scenery!

Edwin, son of Whitey, and his niece Katie Harrington, daughter of Gerard Heydinger, Whitey's son..

The youngest chauffeur in the group, Kurt Michael Ensman, gets set to ram his great uncle Ed. Kurt is the grandson of Carol Heydinger Ensman, daughter of Whitey..

How did a Heydinger get in among this Kehres bunch? Oh, that's right. Kehres's are half Heydinger's. Lois and Danny Kehres, Gerald Kehres, and Dennis Heydinger make up this foursome..

Young Grady Hedrick tees off under the watchful and tutorial eyes of grandma Peggy and Tom Heydinger . This budding athlete won a prize for landing closest to the bowling pin over a water hole. The prize was a bottle of Glenn Heydinger's best wine. Sorry, Grady - too potent for your age!
