The Heydinger School House. The spot for this one room school house was given by Peter Heydinger on which to erect the school. It sits within a stone's throw of Peter s home on Schwab Road, quite convenient since Peter and Rose had so many children! Today the building is used for a grain storage facility by the family that bought the home after Peter owned it.

This is a four generation picture, taken with Mary Gullung Heydinger, Peter Heydinger, Otto Heydinger, and baby Viola Heydinger.

A four generation picture, taken around 1948, showing Peter as the patriarch, Bert, Art and Stanley as the todler.

Relatives on the Scheibley Side of the Family

This is the log cabin in which Rose Sheibley Heydinger was born. It stood approximately across from where Cranbery Hills Golf Course is today. The picture was taken in November of 1951. The house, with a few modern improvements, stood there until around 1960 when it was demolished.
